Podium for PowerPoint is a Microsoft PowerPoint addin that is compatible with most versions of PowerPoint. Currently Powerpoint 2007, Powerpoint 2010 & Powerpoint 2013 is supported.
Podium for PowerPoint is a 32-bit addin so that means your PowerPoint version also needs to be 32-bit. Most users don’t have a need for running 64-bit version of Office simply because 32-bit handles all normal business operations. Unless you have a need for PowerPoint presentations that are larger than 2GB or a word document that is more than 2GB, there is no need to install the 64-bit version of Office. You can uninstall Office if your version is 64-bit. If you have a licensed copy of Office then you already have the 32-bit version! Once you get PowerPoint 32-bit edition installed, then you will be able to install and run Podium for PowerPoint.
You can enable the tab in Powerpoint by going to Options from the home button and then clicking on Addins. When the Addins window loads, click on the Go button near bottom of the screen and then place a checkmark in the items that says Podium. Click OK and OK again to return to PowerPoint. After a moment the Podium tab will appear.

Open Podium for PowerPoint and click on the Library tab. On the Library tab’s ribbon bar, click on “Download Content” button and Podium will automatically connect to our Cloud server and begin downloading the latest content. This process may take a few minutes depending on the amount of content we have and the speed of your Internet connection. This process will download thumbnails for Templates, Backgrounds, 3D Objects, Shapes and Embellishments as well Stock Photo’s.
These are two distinct tabs in Podium for PowerPoint that perform two different functions, though they work independently they feed off of each other to bring your presentations to life. You can transfer slide designs from Slide Designer to Slide Builder and vice versa.
Slide Designer is where you use the filters and effects to create totally unique slide designs.
Slide Builder is where you use drawing tools and add shapes & objects to layout your slides.
You can also use Slide Designer and Slide Builder as stand-alone and just directly transfer the design to Powerpoint.
